We are all storytellers, doing our best to write our life stories in ways that are authentic and meaningful. But sometimes it can feel as if we have lost control of our stories, and we need help figuring out how to integrate the messier chapters. My goal as a therapist is to provide you with the space, support, and skills you need to reclaim your role as the storyteller.
In my work as a therapist, I am passionate about helping others take back their stories. I have worked with clients across the lifespan with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, interpersonal relationships, and life transitions. Much of my experience has been with children and adolescents, both as a therapist and a nanny. My office is open to all, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, economic status, or ethnic background.
When I'm not working, you can typically find me exploring my hometown of Nashville (where did all of these amazing restaurants come from?!). If I'm not trying out a new restaurant or coffee shop, I'm probably reading, traveling, playing at a park with my dog, or binge-watching a show on Netflix.
"When we deny our story, it defines us. When we own our story, we have the power to write our own brave ending."
- Brené Brown
